Korean Board Game Cafe beginner guide
The short version. Start by redeeming the free codes, then work through this.
1. How a session works
Walk in, pick a table and sit down - that is the whole lobby. Tables come in three sizes: 2-person tables for a head-to-head, 4-person tables for a group of friends, and 8-person tables for big lobbies. Everyone at the table plays the same board game together.
2. Food, drinks and XP
It is still a cafe: order drinks and food and you earn experience points. Eating and drinking while you play is how you level up, according to the game's own description. What the levels unlock has not been published yet.
3. Win streaks
The game tracks consecutive wins and dares you to set a record: "How many consecutive wins can you achieve?" If you are chasing a streak, pick the game you know best rather than the loudest table.
4. Which game to start with
Know UNO? Sit at Woncard first - the rules will feel familiar within a round. Want pure speed? Holimolly is a reflex game, so new players win rounds immediately. Bbang-ga rewards a steady hand, and Bacon Block Breaker is the most tactical of the four confirmed games. Kubitail is listed in the description but nothing is public about it yet.
